The modern day version of the Vertical Sliding Box Sash Window otherwise known as the double hung sliding sash.
Our Conservation™ Box Sash Window uses cords, weights and pulleys to counter balance the sashes in the traditional way. Typically a Box Sash Window would be set back in a ‘rebated reveal’ construction so that the box is mostly hidden by the external brick or stone although it can also be seen positioned close to the face of the brickwork with the box on show and dressed with an architrave.
Our Box Sash Windows are equipped with our click fit staff and parting bead which allows the sliding sashes to be easily removed for future maintenance and decoration.
Typically in RAL 9003 Signal White but our customers may choose from the RAL Classic swatch.
On request we are able to offer a colour matching service.
We are able to offer a ‘dual finish’ where different colours are desired internally and externally or a ‘mixed finish’ where frames are specified to be contrasting to sashes.
Our products are also available finished with a pigmented stain in a variety of shades to suit your requirements.
