Mr & Mrs McInerney had lived down one of Gerrards Cross leafy, and eminently desirable, lanes for many years. Their plan was to build a new home, matching the character and style of the surrounding houses, on the plot next door. Little did they imagine how long it would take to get planning permission - and only achieved with when their architect, Osel Architecture in Marylebone, stepped in and took over the planning application.

“It took 14 years to get planning permission as we were in an area of ‘exceptional character’. With the help of the newly appointed architect, who worked closely with the planning officer, they managed to get it approved.”
