Mr Rundle has been a customer of Mumford & Wood since 2007, when the first renovation phase of his beautiful rural home, tucked away in the Berkshire countryside, was undertaken.

“I bought this house 15 years ago, it was built in 1902 and was extended in the 70s, 80s and then most recently by myself” Mr Rundle comments.

Following his purchase of the property, Mr Rundle had numerous ideas for various improvements that the home needed, and so brought an architect on board to help plan the works and provide drawings to assist with this.

Back in 2007, our building contractor! recommended Mumford & Wood to us for new sash windows. They are still perfect to this day, we haven’t even felt the need to repaint them as the finish is still brilliant !"

It may come as no surprise therefore that for the most recent extension, Mr Rundle had no hesitation in returning to Mumford & Wood for additional sash windows, as well as 2 sets of bi-fold doors and a beautiful front door.

The new products are all in the same colour finish and style as the windows installed in 2007 to ensure a consistent look, with the new front door in a smart Grey finish, partnered with Polished Brass ironmongery and patterned glass for additional privacy.

“We wouldn’t have used anyone else for the new windows and doors, the windows from the first phase have really served as a ‘fit & forget’ product, which for us is very important”.
