A duo of new build properties

These impressive, classically styled new build properties in Oxfordshire were originally a single cottage sitting on a large plot of land, that was purchased by developer, TwoTwo Projects Ltd in 2017. 

“Following the purchase, we planned to maximise the value and size of the plot, by replacing the bungalow with two generously sized family homes” comments Michelle.

TwoTwo Projects are renowned across Oxfordshire, often in high demand due to their reputation for their high-quality work and attention to detail. Following the purchase they spent time ensuring their designs were exactly how they wanted them before submitting for planning approval. With Michelle also being a fashion designer, her attention to detail and stylistic approach has clearly shown throughout these new homes.

Having specified Mumford & Wood on a previous project, TwoTwo were keen to return for this new development. As the most appropriate choice for this architectural style, traditional sash windows with fine astragal glazing bars and decorative sash horns were installed across both homes. Their timeless design is a perfect accompaniment for both the white render of the first property, and the traditional red brick façade of the second. 

Both properties were listed for sale in October 2019, with one being eagerly snapped up and occupied only 2 months later. The second property was also sold in July 2020 with the new owners moving in shortly after.
