As an option to the Conservation™ spring sash window is the new and innovative boxed-spring sash window. In this design the pre-tensioned spring balance is hidden from view to maintain authentic styling.

In conversation areas, and in more modern buildings where the structure cannot accommodate the rebate of the traditional box sash, but where the spring balance is not considered visually authentic, a simple box cover has been introduced that completely conceals the spring balance. This allows the vertical sliding sash window to be more in keeping with traditional appearance and allows quick, easy and efficient maintenance.
