Contemporary™ windows go to the top of the class
Our Contemporary™ windows and doors have been used in the extension of the Macintyre School in Wingrave, Buckinghamshire. Architecturally specified by Hinton Cook Architects this new build addition provides state-of-the-art facilities for the support and care of children and adults with learning disabilities.
Bespoke timber casement windows and doors are made from high quality laminated, knot-free timber which is naturally durable and provides strength and stability. Factory fitted double glazing using Low E glass together with high quality weatherseals ensure all Contemporary™ products are fully compliant with Part L Building Regulations and achieve a high degree of weather resistance.
Products in the Contemporary™ range contain tilt turn doors and windows and can be supplied in a range of RAL colours or stained. An aluminium-clad option is also available for reduced maintenance cycles. All tilt turn products offer high performance and conform to the European burglary resistant standard DIN V ENV 1627-1630.
“This is a spectacular and inspirational building designed to accommodate the present and future development of our students,” says Bill Mumford, managing director, Macintyre Charitable Trust.
