Contemporary™ glazing for sensitive renovation
Stylish Contemporary™ timber windows and doors have been used in a warehouse conversion in London, ECI.
Historic Clerkenwell is adjacent to the medieval St John’s Gate in which the elegant Knights Court development has been sympathetically restored. Converted into 17 private and highly individual dwellings, including a three-bedroom penthouse, studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments, a modern and open plan layout has been enhanced with Mumford & Wood’s dramatic Contemporary™ glazing options.
Our Contemporary™ tilt turn windows, doors and sliding doors were used throughout and supplied with two coats of paint ready for site finishing. Contemporary™ products are also available in an alu-clad combination which allows reduced maintenance.
There is a choice of hinging systems for standard and alu-clad products. Manufactured from premium knot-free timber, Contemporary™ products are fitted with top quality weatherseals and supplied with water based microporous opaque paint or translucent stain. Glazing is factory fitted with Low ‘E’ glass as standard and all products are Part L compliant.
