Contemporary™ bi-fold doors by Mumford & Wood
Mumford & Wood’s collection of bi-fold doors complete the Contemporary™ range of doors and windows.
Contemporary™ bi-fold doors start from a two-door minimum width of 1450mm up to an impressive seven-door maximum width of 6050mm with an operating height of up to 2450mm. Available with a standard or flush threshold, these internally folding doors achieve a dramatic effect in any room.
Standard double glazed units are argon filled and achieve a centre pane U- value of 1.1 W/m².K which meets current Part L Building Regulations. A 1230 x 1480mm tilt turn window achieves a whole window U-value of 1.4 W/m².K. This can be further improved by incorporating 1.0 W/m².K or 0.7 W/m².K double glazed units to give overall window U-values as low as 1.0 W/m².K. (incorporating a low energy spacer).
Available in a wide range of RAL colours and stains.
Other established products in the Contemporary™ range include tilt and slide doors; lift and slide doors; tilt turn doors and windows, many of which have enhanced security in accordance with ENV1627 which is the European equivalent to BS7950. All of these design options are available in alu-clad.
Acoustic needs can also be met with tested ratings of 38dB for Contemporary™ casements and doors and up to 43dB ratings in the Contemporary™ tilt turn range (42db maximum for alu-clad option).
